Seamaster Diver 300M 42 mm

Since 1993, the Seamaster Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following.This 42 mm model is a Limited Edition of 2,500 pieces and features a brushed case made from grade 2 titanium, with a crown, bezel ring and helium escape valve in 18K Sedna™ gold. In contrast, OMEGA has used tantalum to create the base of the bezel for a distinctive blue-grey tone.The titanium dial features positive sun-brushed waves. The skeleton hands and raised indexes are 18K Sedna™ gold and are filled with white Super-LumiNova.The watch is presented on a grade 2 titanium bracelet with tantalum and 18K Sedna™ gold links. An image of the OMEGA Seahorse can be found on the transparent caseback, through which you can see the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 inside.

Anti-magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
Helium escape valve: Decompression system which allows helium to escape from inside the watch when the watch is worn for professional use in pressure chambers. (Long-term underwater work, crude oil exploration, etc.)
Limited edition: A series of watches whose production run is determined in advance of production and limited to a set number.
Master Chronometer Certified: Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
Screw-in crown: Self-locking crown, screwed into the tube of the case, used for highly water resistant divers' watches.
Transparent caseback: A transparent caseback - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
Unidirectional rotating bezel: A bezel which turns in only one direction. Particularly useful for divers who cannot accidentally rotate it in the wrong direction, which could cause them to miscalculate their dive times. A rotating bezel makes it easy to measure elapsed time.
